Passerine, Patrick Lee's first effort with Bocumast Records, is a collection of 30 digital bird songs. Passerine is a spiritual cousin to works by J-Dilla, The Books and Flying Lotus. Samples, field recordings and hip hop beats blur together to create an album that sonically explores the transition of beings from good to evil and back to good again.
