What's This Gonna Cost

Tim - I wrote every song on this record in Williamsburg, except for “Coats” and “What This Gonna Cost”, which I wrote in Denver.  I found a small, old, dusty little acoustic guitar in my girlfriend’s closet in Brooklyn and wrote and recorded the EP.  I recorded the EP all to analogue tape in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at The Creamery Studio.  It was in the middle of winter, and there was no heat in the studio.  I could see my breath as I sang.  I was feverishly hung over and sweating with chills as I played.  I recorded it live and there is no over dubbing, except for a few back up vocals provided by Quinn McCarthy – who produced and engineered the sessions.
